CLOTHES SHOW LIVE 2013- HAUL- BEAUTY

Hello Beautiful people! so this year I went with school to the clothes show live in Birmingham and I went last year so I was super excited to get all the beauty products and of course the AMAZING catwalk! I didn't buy as much as I did last year but I will give you a little talk on the things I bought.

BARRY M 'GOODYBAG' - £10.
Nail Paint- retro 1- 220.- a metalicy Pink colour, not the best, stains the nails.
Nail Paint- Pink iridescent- 264- a pink glitter, good for a glitter top coat.
Nail Paint- Lilac foil- 342- A metallic lilac, limited edition.
Nail Paint- SLE 2013- B- 325- Vibrant/neon green, limited edition.
Nail Paint- Silver- 342- Metallic silver.
Intense Black Mascara- Very good for lengthening lashes, adds thickness, very pleased.
Glitterstick- Gold- Doesn't show up very well, nice over gold eye shadow.
Super soft eye crayon- NO5- a very pretty purple, Very pigmented, Soft on skin.
Kohl pencil- 16- Pale blue, gorgeous for blue eyes in the lower corner.
Fine Glitter dust- 24- Light grey with silver specs, Great for dark smoky eyes.
Dazzle Dust- 90- Dark Purple with purple glitter specs, Great again for Purple smoky eyes or for a hint of colour to a dark black smoky eye.
Lip Gloss- Has no number or name, A light musky pink, smells gorgeous like strawberry's, looks nice with statement eyes as this is a nude colour or with a brown smoky eye.

RIMMEL LONDON 'GOODYBAG' -£5.
SunShimmer Instant tan- Medium Matte- Not streaky, not too dark, very good.
Lash Accelerator Endless- Small brush, Not too bad at lengthening, Not so good for Volumising.
Salon Pro Nail Polish- 317- Hiphop- From the Kate Moss range, A red/orange, Very much like the Barry M Gel's.
Wake me up foundation sample- soft beige- SPF15- Gives your skin a nice glow, correct colour for my skin tone, not oily or too thick.

BOMB COSMETICS.- 2 FOR £10
Raspberry Beret- Shimmering body butter.- Smells gorgeous, Very thick, high quality, Overly pleased!
Strawberry Fields- Shower body polish.- Smells nice and sweet, Makes skin incredibly soft and I am in love with this product.

NARS foundation in light £20

REVIEWING SOAP AND GLORY PRODUCTS!

Soap and Glory have always been one of my favourite brands and I have only just realised how much I actually have! so here's a quick review of a few products.

'Daily smooth body butter'
I use this after every shower, I love this product to much. It is not to thick and absorbed quickly, it smells so nice and I have 2 big bottles and 3 little ones, when I run out I will be defiantly buying this again (not like I will be running out any time soon).

'The righteous butter'
I have 2 mini versions of this product and I love it! It smells similar to the daily smooth body butter, but is a bit thicker. Its good for night time (before you go to bed).

'Hand food'
This has become my addiction, I have 1 In every bag. it makes my hands feel so soft and smell divine! The bottle is small and doesn't take up much room in a handbag or cosmetic bag and I am over the moon with this product.

'Mist you madly'
This is a body spray, the spray smells so clean and floral I use it most days. The bottle holds 100ml and should last for a decent amount of time if not using it daily. highly recommend this spray.

'Girligo'
This is a spray on moisturiser, the idea of the product is unique and I do like it but it could be better, it smells delicious like all the soap and glory products but personally I think it took a while to absorb.

'Scrub 'em and leave 'em'
this is a body scrub with Babassu oil and sea salt. I only have the small pot so I only use this after I have a 'pamper night'. This scrub makes my skin feel so soft and smell so nice, I will defiantly be purchasing this again!

'Scrub of your life'
Again I only have the mini for this, but I use this more often. The scrub leaves me with the same soft skin as the one above, but the smell is less powerful. The quality is definatly better in the 'scrub 'em and leave 'em' scrub but this one is good value for money.

That is all for this review, sorry it isn't as detailed as the previous ones, it was a rather
last minute one..

MY TOP 10 DRUGSTORE NAIL PRODUCTS!

Since I was young I have always had a slight obsession  with buying nail polish's so I have a variety of different brands and shades.
Drugstore nail polishes are obviously not as good as the luxury brands like OPI, orly and Nails inc. but if you find the right brand you may be surprised!
the brands that will prop up the most will be rimmel London and Barry M they are super cheap. They require more coats but the outcome is still good.

NUMBER 10- Collection2000- twilight.
Twilight is a dark purple and extremely cheap, requires many coats. packaging isn't that great but thw price makes up for it.

NUMBER 9- Rimmel London- sun downer.
This polish is fab for summer with a nice tan. It is a orange/red colour and takes 2-3 coats.

NUMBER 8- Barry M- red wine.
I purchased this polish when studs and leather were in fashion, this polish looks gorgeous with a rock style outfit and pale skin. takes around 2-3 coats and top coat is recommended.

NUMBER 7- Models own- juicy Jules
I bought this at the 2012 clothes show in Birmingham along with 3 others but this one is my favourite out if the 4. This polish is a silver glitter, looks gorgeous over another colour but to create an all over glitter effect it takes many coats.

NUMBER 6- Revlon- sparkling
This colour has an elegant feel to it and looks gorgeous! the packaging is very nice and you get a lot of polish for the price. The polish is pink glitter and looks lovely over a light pink polish. I use this polish for school days and when im in a rush I use it on its own to add some sparkle to my nails.

NUMBER 5- Rimmel London- Disco Ball
I saw this polish on 'AllThatJazz' 's youtube channel and instantly fell in love. I use this polish over Barry M gelly's in 'prickly pear', 'blueberry' and 'grapefruit'.

NUMBER 4- Barry M gelly paint - Grapefruit
the barry M geles are so gorgeous and shiny and well worth the money. 2-3 coats is usually the correct amount and to add more shine I use a top coat. the colour is a vibrant pink but not too tacky or cheap looking. Im not usually a fan of vibrant pink polishes but this is an exception.

NUMBER 3 Barry M gelly paint- Lyche.
My friend bought this and I just had to have it! it is a very nude colour and requires the same amount of coats as the one above. the gelle paints are so amazing If you haven't already bought them I strongly recommend that you do!

NUMBER 2- Barry M confetti effects - bubblegum
when I bought this I wasn't too sure if I would like it but I am so glad I bought it in the end. I put this over barry M's gelly paint in 'blueberry' on my ring finger and it looks so unique. The polish is clear but has little grains of blue and white in it that look so lovely and different.

NUMBER 1- Barry M Gelly paint- Prickly pear!
this is a lush light purple that is perfect all year round. All the barry M gelly's I have bought have only 1 fault which is the time it takes to dry, all nail varnish's take a while but these do require a lot of patience. I will continue to buy the gelly paint's and are amazing for the price.

so that is my top 10 nail polishes I hope you all check these out and enjoy the products as much as I did!

MAC, SLEEK, RIMMEL AND MUA REVIEWS

so guys it was birthday last week! I got a few new makeup products so I thought i'd review them.

SLEEK AU NATURAL I-DIVINE PALLETE.
this is my second eye palette by sleek and I am in LOVE with them! they are extremely pigmented and easy to blend. the colours of the palette I use mainly are - Taupe, moss, mineral earth and nougat.

SLEEK BLUSH AND CONTOUR TRIO
this is my first ever contour+blush from sleek and i'm very happy with it. I got it in 'light'. Again it is very pigmented and stays on throughout the day. To apply this, I use a real techniques contour brush which I got in the core collection.

MAC CREMESHEEN IN LICKABLE.
my first ever mac purchase! never been so happy about a lipstick! the staff were ever so helpful helping me pick a shade to compliment my skin tone, it applys nicely and you can feel the good standard. The colour I got is 'lickable' this is a vibrant pink with blue tones which make your teeth look whiter. This lipstick stayed on my lips all day and evening without fading to much, very happy with this and it wont be my last lipstick from mac!

RIMMEL LONDON KATE MOSS LIPSTICK IN 101.
this is such a gorgeous pastel matte pink, it is lovely for summer for suttle lips and looks lovely with brown smokey eyes. It is nice to apply, smells lush and stays on through out the day, very pleased with this.

MUA PALLETTE IN GLITTER BALL
this was a gift of my friend and I was over the moon with this! I have heard lots of positive comments about the mua pallettes so I had to try one. The colours are very pretty but not as pigmented as I had hoped for, I will be buying another one of these pallettes in neutral colours as I try to stick to safer colours with my eyeshaddows.

that is a few things I had got for my birthday, the rest I am still waiting to try! any suggestions on what I should review COMMENT XO

HAIR+MAKEUP PRODUCTS.

Hi guys!,
I've been shopping again and picked up a few things id like to give a review on so first
TANGLE TEEZER
This brush is AMAZING. when I go to bed I tend to turn a lot which annoyingly makes my hair a bit knotty, a regular brush pulls my hair and I hated it, so I bought a tangle teezer, this brush is in a good shape which is easy to hold, it's a sort of bean shape. The bristles are soft and it doesn't hurt yet it gets any knot out whether tiny or huge.
RIMMEL LONDON MATCH PERFECTION FOUNDATION
I bought this as my previous one ran out, I was going to buy the 'wake me up' one but they were all to dark for my skin tone. I picked up this foundation in Ivory and it matched perfectly! it seems oily when you pump it out but it blends in beautifully.
TONI AND GUY SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER FOR BRUNETTE.
My hair has never felt or smelt so good! My hair feels instantly soft and sleek and smells divine! you can buy this in boots and most probably superdrug.
TONI AND GUY VOLUMISING MOUSSE
You apply this on towel dryed/damp hair to the roots then blow dry as normal, This is really good and adds that extra something to your hair and makes it look beautiful. I use this after the shampoo and conditioner I recommend doing that.

MORE TO COME SOON<3.

first blog! Makeup reviews- Sleek, MUA, Rimmel.

So this is my first ever blog, so i thought i'd tell you some products i have recently bought.
SLEEK PALETTE IN STORM
I have wanted a sleek palette for AGES now and my local superdrug doesn't sell sleek so it was pretty annoying. But i recently went chester with my mum and we saw superdrug, so of course we went in, and i have never been so happy to see a makeup stand like EVER.
I picked up the palette in 'storm' i have nothing bad to say on this palette, the colours come out really nicely and i recomend this to blue eyed people as brown eyeshadows compliment the eyes.
You get mainly 'shimmery' colours and very few matte colours, I payed £7.99 for this palette and it was worth every penny!

MUA PRO-BASE EYE PRIMER
Next thing i bought was very cheap from MUA, it is a pro base eye primer, this was £2.50 and it doesn't dissapoint, you apply this before your eyeshaddow or liner and it makes it stand out more.

RIMMEL LONDON QUAD PALETTE.
i have this palette in sun safari, This was around £6. Again this complements blue eyes, and it states that on the back of the palette. This does not dissapoint, it is amazing for the price! colours are very similar to the sleek palette but you get more shades in the sleek palette.
